So, I'm trying to catch Latias, and I got her down to yellow with my wobbufet's Mirror Coat, but no matter how many Ultra Balls I use, it's not working, and if I switch out of Wobbufet, she simply flees. Is there any sort of Item I can use, a priority move, perhaps, that I can use as an alternate way to stop her from fleeing? Also, I can't trade, so I can't get Crobat, unless there's another way to get a Crobat or Mean Look. Please help.

Every other pokemon that can learn it is either only accessible through trading, or has terrible speed.
Nevermind, it worked! Thanks!
Wobbuffet is going to be one of the best things you can use. According to https://www.dragonflycave.com/calculators/gen-iii-iv-catch-rate if Latias is in yellow health, each Ultra Ball has about a 1.6% chance of working. It's long and tedious, but Shadow Tag Wobbuffet is by *far* one of the most consistent ways to trap Latias. Just stock up on Ultra Balls and Max Potions, and there's no reason you won't catch it eventually. Also consider Timer Balls or even the Master Ball if it gets to be too annoying.

Let me know if this is enough for an answer.
Yes, it is, and thank you so much, I caught her.
This is not the most time-efficient way to do it, but I used a Kirlia with mean look, calm mind, hypnosis, max speed EVs, and a speed raising nature.

If you already caught it like you said in the comments, this is mostly irrelevant. Hopefully someone in the future finds this information useful.

Thanks again.
Timer balls become better than ultra balls after 10 turns, and they're also cheaper. I don't see any good reason to use ultra balls after you have access to timer balls.
Yes repping the Cave of Dragonflies we love to see it
