Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Pokémon Shining Pearl are remakes of the original DS games Diamond & Pearl. Contrary to earlier remakes which typically use the same style as other games from the same generation, this one has more cartoony graphics in an isometric 3D style.

Gameplay

Like the original games, the story takes place in the mountainous region of Sinnoh. The player starts with one of three Pokémon and must conquer eight gyms in the region and the Elite Four, while also taking care of the evil organization, Team Galactic.
