Breeding Eevee with Smeargle in Pokemon SoulSilver?

I caught at least 6 male smeargles and I have 3 female eevees but non of them like each other. Can you help me?

They should lay an egg if you take a lot of steps. (biking is the fastest way to take steps)

If the day-care man says that they don’t seem to like each other that much, then it means they can breed, although they have a low chance. As long as he doesn’t say that your Pokémon prefer playing with other Pokémon rather than each other, then they can breed.
