EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Head Smash
- Wild Charge
- Hammer Arm

Head smash is not required , you anyways have a move covering flying and head smash causes too much recoil and emboar would probably faint after usinhg it because it is slow enough to attack last .
This is the exact moveset i use and its acualy really good
Hey, uh, Unidentified, the set clearly is equiped with the ability called RECKLESS, which prevents recoil damage. That being said, Head Smash and Flare Blitz are excellent choices, especially through a Choice Band that can boost speed. Just throwing it out there.
@Enoch
RECKLESS: "Reckless increases the base power of moves which cause recoil or crash damage by 20%."
ROCK HEAD: "Rock Head prevents recoil damage"
Choice Band: "Boosts Attack by 50%, but only allows the use of the first move selected."
Choice Scarf: "Boosts Speed by 50%, but only allows the use of the first move selected."
Please do the research before you comment. Rock Head is wat you are thinking about. Reckless would most likely cause more recoil damage.
As for the Choice Items, you are thinking about Choice Scarf.
I don't like flare blitz and head smash, they have recoil.I like hammer arm though. you culd put in overheat;it has no recoil
Zoroarks power: not only is Overheat a special move while this is clearly a physical set, the point of Flare Blitz and Head Smash is to take advantage of Emboar's ability!
what about solar beam to cover water types?
@RMS: Wild Charge covers water types. And again, given the move set and nature used, this is clearly a physical set. Not a special set or a mixed set, physical

Emboar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Earthquake

Suicide pig.

Jolly + Scarf will let you out speed tons of threats.
After you have that out of the way, just sweep.

You have Reckless boosted recoil moves and Earthquake at your disposal!
Flare Blitz is STAB. The rest is coverage.

I use Power-Up Punch instead of EQ because it's STAB and makes for trolly snowballing!

The " PhysipigwallthingImadewhileiasbored " AKA " Phyiscal Tank Emboar "

Emboar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Curse
- Hammer Arm
- Heat Crash

EVs give the most physical bulk he can get. Curse increases his offensive capabilities while also raising his defense even more. Will-O-Wisp does residual damage while lowering my foe's attack. Hammer Arm is STAB ( I don't give a crap about speed. ) ( Sorry Speed Freak ) and Heat Crash is the other STAB option.

Emboar @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
Jolly Nature
- Flame Charge
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Brick Break

Flame Charge boosts Speed so you do not need a Scarf to sweep :D. Flare Blitz is STAB. Earthquake is coverage. Brick Break is coverage. This is not a suicide sweeper unlike most Emboar, which is why he does not have Reckless or non STAB recoil moves.

Maybe you can replace one of the moves with wild charge

I actually made this set up, so credit to me for have made it ^^.

Emboar

Emboar @ Expert Belt / Leftovers
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower / Head Smash
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Well, this is for when Reckless comes out. It's a basic ResTalk set. Why ResTalk? Because Reckless will give him insane amout of recoil and he will die to easily. Nobody likes a suicide pig. Flare Blitz is his primary STAB, and damn, with Reckless, this thing will be OHKO'ing EVERYTHING. Second moveslot is up to you. Either choose Superpower, which lowers your Attack but is STAB or choose Head Smash which can be used for packing up as much recoil as possible and is coverage against Flying-types. Rest is for recovery while Sleep Talk allows you not to be a set-up bait and continue to attack with your insanely powerful moves. I didn't know what EVs to give him so I gave him 252 HP for some tanking Abilities, 252 Atk is a must while 4 Spd is just a filler. Adamant Nature is for more power. The Item choice is up to you. Either Expert Belt for an immediate OHKO when super-effective or Lefties, which can be helpful recovery while attacking.

I like it!!! :P
Oh, thanks =D
Emboar isn't bulky enough to pull off resttalk imo. Especially considering his bad defensive typing.
Should I invest more in Bulk or..?

Emboar
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 126 SpD / 126 Def / 6 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Heat Crash
- Hammer Arm
- Scald
- Grass Knot

Heat crash and hammer arm are for stab, just watch out for speed reduction on hammer arm. Scald can take out ground types, and grass knot is coverage for water types.

HellPig (Emboar) (M) @ Charcoal
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Heat Crash
- Minimize
- Curse
- Hammer Arm

You're going to want a Pokemon with Trick Room so Emboar can go first, and so the Hammer Arm speed drop just helps you out. Minimize makes you more evasive and makes you lose weight so Heat Crash does more damage, Charcoal ups Heat Crash damage, Blaze ups damage at low HP, and Curse brings up your power. This basically makes it seem like your opponent just got hit by a jumbo jet.

Heat Crash does more damage the heavier you are. Minimize actually makes it weaker
First of all Emboar doesn't learn minimize and second minimize doesn't lower the weight of emboar. Even if it did, heat crash would be weaker since emboar loses weight

Emboar @ Leftovers
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Hammer Arm
- Head Smash
- Flare Blitz
Earthquake has 100 power. Hammer is STAB but it lowers speed. Head Smash has 150 power and with the Reckless ability makes 150 to 180 but the user takes terrible damage. Flare Blitz is STAB, it may burn the target, the Reckless ability makes 120 to 144 but it damages the user a lot.

Why on EARTH would you have Solar Beam? You have Reckless yet you use Fire Blast, when you can use Flare Blitz. The Careful nature really doesn't help either. Black Glasses should be used for STAB dark moves, otherwise its a useless item. Why the defensive EV spread?

Gen 9 NU Choice Band

Emboar @ Choice Band
Ability: Reckless
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

Emboar has been getting usage in NU recently, so here is a Choice Band set it can use in Gen 9 NU. Choice Band Emboar has quite a few new toys it can use on a Choice Band set. Flare Blitz is used for Emboar's Fire STAB since it gets boosted by Reckless, and Choice Band + Reckless + Adamant Nature = really powerful move not a lot of Pokemon want to switch into. Emboar gets Close Combat in Gen 9, meaning it no longer has to use Superpower. Close Combat is a nice Fighting STAB move to hit Pokemon such as Diancie, Flygon, Umbreon, Tauros-Paldea-Aqua really hard, and can be useful for a STAB move to lock into if you don't want to take recoil damage yet. Knock Off is also a move Emboar gets in Gen 9. Knock Off allows Emboar to hit Flash Fire Chandelure and Delphox super effectively. Knock Off is also useful for removing items such as Rocky Helmet from its checks. Removing Rocky Helmet from Pokemon such as Galarian Slowbro, Palossand, and Qwilfish is useful so Emboar doesn't have to worry about taking recoil damage + Rocky Helmet chip later in a game. Sucker Punch is used for a priority move to pick off faster Pokemon since Emboar isn't a fast Pokemon. Tera Dark allows Emboar to have a Psychic immunity and Knock Off and Sucker Punch as STAB moves. Adamant Nature is used over Jolly nature since Max Speed Adamant Nature already lets it outspeed the walls Emboar can wallbreak. You'll want pivot support to bring Emboar in safely, so Pokemon such as Dragalge, Flygon, Thundurus, and Tsareena work as teammates for Emboar. Tsareena can also use Rapid Spin to clear away hazards, as Emboar really doesn't want to take chip from entry hazards. You can also use Wishpassers such as Umbreon, Florges, and Sylveon to keep Emboar healthy so it can spam Flare Blitz more often.
