I've only played FTL. It was a great game. It might seem to be based on just luck, but that's only in the beginning when you suck. It relies more on knowing the probability of events and then basing your decisions on the risk/reward of your actions. There are tons of things you can do to manipulate events in your favor, but first you have to learn the game. It's incredibly replayable.

As for the others offered, I'm interested in most of them. Trine 2 is a physics platformer, which is not something I tend to like because I hate everything that touts physics, as it usually ends up being a frustrating mess more often than not. Mark of the Ninja is a really well drawn stealth game. Not a genre I really like, but it's supposed to be a really good game. Brutal Legend is a Double Fine game. Don't really like them, but the game appears to be a good homage to the music of old. FEZ is a game that I'm very much interested in. A platformer with the ability to shift dimensions. It's highly acclaimed. I'd say let the critics actually influence your decision for this game, as the user reviews for it are mostly concerned with the fact that the creator is as much an ******* as most of the internet. I read books from racists, sexists, and homophobes (they're called authors before the 21st century) so I couldn't give a damn about that kind of thing. Art is art.

Kids these days, expecting something for nothing. And expecting this from a luxury good no less!

Some feedback, but I love these two so much I can forgive it. They're great. Bastion was one of the best games I've played in quite some time and it easily has the best soundtrack of any game I've played. It's $15, go buy it. And pick up the soundtrack while you're at it. Transistor is something I'm psyched for. Early footage shows it to be upholding the promise of Supergiant. I have no doubt that they're going to be my favorite Indie studio. Maybe my favorite studio in general what with the current state of Bioware clouding warm memories.

Again, I highly suggest everyone watches Game of Thrones with the HBO free weekend if you have Comcast. The show is incredible.

Sadness. Hayao Miyazaki is retiring. If you haven't seen Spirited Away or Nausicaa, I would highly suggest doing so. Incredibly powerful female leads, strong environmental messages, plenty of emotion, beautiful music, perfect voice acting (Nausicaa has both Patrick Stewart and Mark Hamill), and wonderfully drawn.

Bow under the gaze of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, and Mhysa.

Lol, the person who was hugely responsible for the horror that was Dragon Age II is doing a kickstarter for a Mass Effect clone. If anybody could make a worse Mass Effect than the guys who made Mass Effect 3, she surely can. Mass Effect 3 was a solid game, but a horrible Mass Effect. Dragon Age II however was an awful game.
