Just finished Batman: Arkham Asylum (I know I'm late to the party, but there are so many good games out there it is almost impossible to play them all). I have to say it is quite wonderful. Easily the best licensed game I've played, and it is also the best metroidvania I've played since the Metroid Prime series. The combat has an incredible flow to it, and is easily superior to other games that use a similar combat system, such as Assassin's Creed. While the stealth elements aren't the strongest part of the game, I didn't feel they were bad either. Just nothing really to talk about. They got the feel of Batman perfectly, and put in a lot of lore. Probably the best thing about the game is the voice acting. They have the man who played Joker in the Animated Series. Yep, Mark Hamill, who is in my opinion the greatest of voice actors. He plays the part of Joker perfectly. We also have such talent as Kevin Conroy (who voiced Batman in the Animated series) and Arleen Sorkin (original Harley Quinn). The other voice actors, especially Tom Kane, are great as well. I'm very much looking forward to playing City.
