PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

Wall for trachy (page 55)

A person asks "Is  this game worth $20?" The response is always "lol, are you poor? The game is $20. Just buy it." Now say you were to live by this bit of wisdom. But instead of buying every game that was $20, you bought every game that was $5. Going off the Steam catalog, this alone would cost around $8150 give or take.

Yep, that Kiki's Delivery Service is definitely promoting satanic allegiance by having the main character being a witch, instead of the magical powers of a witch being a metaphor for the potential within people (with the potential within women specifically).

It was my first Hayao Miyazaki movie, and as such it holds a special place in my heart.

Shame that there was never that expansion to Rise of Legends. Not the greatest of RTS games, but it was solid.

I need to get into Hearthstone. Prove all the youtubers that they do in fact suck at order of operations (which is the biggest factor of CCGs along with deckbuilding.)

Newest Humble Bundle has added Bastion to the roster. I command you to buy it. https://www.humblebundle.com/ It also includes the soundtrack, which is awesome since the soundtrack for Bastion is amazing.

Other games added are Rocketbirds, AVNT, and Limbo. Rocketbirds and AVNT I have no clue what they are about. Limbo I've played. I didn't really enjoy it that much. Nothing really wrong with it, it just didn't click with me.

Now Bastion is simply incredible. Great aesthetic design backed by what  is in my opinion the best videogame soundtrack in current years. The music is great in a way that's different from the greats of classic gaming, as three or four of the tracks have vocalizations. Now the game is an isometric action game with some RPG elements. The gameplay is solid, and while it isn't anything to write home about itself, it's still very well done. The main attraction is the story though, and how it is conveyed. There is a narrator (who has an amazing voice btw) who narrates your actions. Not every action, so it doesn't get old. But a fair number of actions. The weapons you go into battle with, the upgrades you get, whether you managed to get through a big fight without a scratch. It adds a ton of appeal to the game. The story itself is pretty good, with the ending close to bringing me to tears. Now emotionally, I'm a bit of a softie compared to some people, but it's still one of the few videogames that have managed that.

Add Sarah Bolger to the list of good voice actors. Great job in From Up On Poppy Hill. She also voiced Lamb in Bioshock 2.
