Gen 9 Monotype Choice Scarf (Fighting)

Flamigo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Scrappy
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Brave Bird
- Facade / Roost
- U-turn

The off-brand version of Galarian Zapdos, aka Flamigo, has a niche on Fighting teams as a revenge killer that can hit Ghost-types with its Fighting STAB due to Scrappy. Close Combat is used for a powerful Fighting STAB that can even hit Ghost-types such as Dragapult, Gholdengo, Froslass, Sableye, and Skeledirge. Brave Bird is used for a powerful Flying STAB. Even though Facade doesn't provide much coverage, Facade is used to allow Flamigo to do something should it get afflicted by a status condition, especially burns. If you want to use this set in lower tiers such as PU, use Roost over Facade. While Roost is wierd on a Choiced set, it's useful to use on a predicted switch or should Flamigo's item gets knocked off. U-turn allows Flamigo to pivot and create momentum for your team.

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Pretty standard. leftovers for survivability. facade with scrappy is solid. close combat and brave bird are powerful stabs.

Why would you use Facade without any status effect? Why Leftovers over Choice Band or Choice Scarf? Should I use Tera Flying over Tera Dragon/Tera Normal? Why no Roost if Leftovers?
Roost means sacrificing another move, Tera flying is a good idea, so is stellar. And everything else can be modified.
