Isn't Maushold just Tandemaus with a kid or two but 165 BST stronger?

Gen 9 Monotype Tidy Up + Wide Lens (Normal)

Maushold-Four @ Wide Lens
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tidy Up
- Population Bomb
- Low Kick
- Bite

A Tidy Up + Wide Lens set for Gen 9 Monotype. Tidy Up basically acts like a Defog and Dragon Dance in one. Tidy Up clears away hazards and Substitutes on both sides of the field and gives you a +1 Attack and +1 Speed boost. Population Bomb is used as Normal STAB since it hits 10 times and gets boosted boosted by Technician. Population Bomb has a chance to miss, which is where Wide Lens comes into play. Wide Lens increases Population Bomb's accuracy, which allows Population Bomb to hit all 10 times if you aren't that one unlucky person that has Population Bomb with Wide Lens miss. Low Kick is used as coverage against Rock- and Steel-types such as Kingambit, Iron Treads, and Iron Thorns. Low Kick being dependent on the opposing Pokemon's weight means you'll either get a powerful Fighting-type move or a Fighting-type move that gets boosted by Technician. Bite is used as coverage against Ghost-types. Bite also gets boosted by Technician and has a chance to flinch opposing Pokemon. Rocky Helmets are problematic for Maushold, especially when it uses Population Bomb, so Knock Off support from Cyclizar is greatly appreciated. I choose Maushold-Four as the form for this set because two little mice are better than just one little mouse.

OU / National Dex

Maushold @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Protective Pads
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Dark / Ghost / Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Population Bomb
- Bite
- Tidy Up
- U-turn

Maushold is one of the best hazard removers in OU because Tidy Up is unaffected by Gholdengo's Good as Gold Ability, which lets it get rid of hazards consistently. The point of this set is not to sweep, which is why I put more defensive investment into it and prioritize Boots or Pads over Wide Lens. It's something you can do, but that's not what it's for and it's mid at sweeping, since Population Bomb only has a 37.5% chance of hitting all 10 times, vs around 90% with Wide Lens. Bite is coverage for Gholdengo and Dragapult, U-turn is for pivoting. Population Bomb is STAB.

Good teammates for Maushold

/
I believe Clodsire would do very well with Maushold, as it naturally checks Gholdengo, letting Maushold come in and remove hazards easily. Great Tusk would be a solid teammate as it has fast Taunt to antilead Glimmora, Rapid Spin just incase Maushold can't do their job, and Knock Off to beat Air Balloon Gholdengo sets.

What would be a good set for them though?
Just wondering.

Maushold @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Play Rough
- Population Bomb
- Bullet Seed
- Tidy Up

After a tidy up or two, this could one tap things and tera ghost protected it from the fighting type moves. This is just busted if played well.

loaded dice is pretty meh on maushold, only affecting bullet seed
true wide lens also helps
Loaded dice makes population bomb hit atleast 4 times

QT+Fam (Maushold-Four) @ Wide Lens
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Fairy/Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tidy Up
- Encore
- Population Bomb
- Bite

This thing is a DEMON! I used it in OU, and it caused many people to rage quit… Anyway, pretty explanatory set; Tidy Up any hazards and get that sweet, sweet Dragon Dance boost. Encore is to lock set-up sweepers into using status moves so they can’t do anything to the family. Also, you can Encore a Kingambit into Sucker Punch and proceed to max your attack and speed with Tidy Up. This can force a switch or two. Population Bomb is purely for that almost guaranteed 300 base power (before STAB), again, due to Wide Lens and Technician. Bite is to hit those pesky ghosts (Gholdengo) who think they can switch in on a normal type. Higher BP than Crunch (90>80) due to Technician and that flinch chance is pretty sweet. Also Tera Fairy to stay alive for an incoming Fighting attack. Or you could opt for Tera Normal to further power up the already absurd power of Population Bomb. This thing has swept teams who aren’t prepared for the power of this small family of mice. BEWARE!

Edit: I was wrong, Encore doesn't work on Gholdengo. I fix it, don't worry about it.

Bullet Seed actually isn't boosted by Wide Lens. You also can't encore Gholdengo because of Good As Gold.
I’ve actually locked Gholdengo in on Nasty Plot and killed it with two Bites. Encore works on Gholdengo.
Encore doesn't work on Gholdengo, I tested it

Why Bite?
@Ferrari, I didn't make this set but its probably because of Technician, since Technician Bite is stronger than Crunch and it covers for Ghost types.
ok makes more sense

Mice.

GEN 9 DOUBLES OU

Maushold-Four @ Wide Lens / Focus Sash / Sitrus Berry
Ability: Friend Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe (If using Wide Lens, change it to a more offensive spread).
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Population Bomb
- Follow Me
- Encore / U-Turn / Charm

A fellow Friend Guard + Follow Me user that isn't Clefairy. Follow Me so the opponent can follow you, keeping your ally safe. Population Bomb is still a very strong move that every Maushold should be using. Protect because its Protect and we're on a double battle. The last move can be anything that can help your partner do something, but I personally prefer Encore.

Have fun using it!
