Is it random, or does it choose a specific mon? For example, when I fight Ditto with Imposter, it always seems to copy my Urshifu, even when I lose and try again. But when it's a Ditto with Limber that uses Transform, the mon it chooses seems to be random, even if I lose and try again. Is it different for both methods of transformation, or is it random for both?

Edited because there's a question detailing what ditto does if you are using it

If it's an imposter Ditto it'll transform into the host's Pokemon unless that host is using a legendary it can't transform into. A few buddies and I ran ditto raids several times over the last few days. Imposters turned into the host every time (we didn't bring legendaries).

Transform and Imposter are identical. They do exactly the same thing, and Imposter only makes Ditto more viable in battle, by making it move a turn earlier.

When sent into battle, the Pokémon automatically transforms into a random opponent that is on the field.
