Are the effects of the move Charge negated by the Unaware ability?

Question

So charge boosts Sp. Def upon use, and doubles the power of the next electric move, so I was wondering if the 2x boost is negated by unaware or will still do 2x damage

That should not activate unaware because it's not a stat change.

sumwun basically answered this question in full so I'm just going to take it off the unanswered thread. They are correct. No stat change, no negation. The Sp. Def boost will still be ignored though, say, if an opposing Unaware Clefable hit you with a Moonblast.
