Did SwSh remove any other* held items (or make them unobtainable)?

Question

*other than mega stones, Z-crystals, items that have no effect when held in battle, or items that have an effect in battle only when held by a removed Pokemon (blue orb, for example)
I know they removed a bunch of Pokemon and moves, but all the remaining Pokemon keep their abilities. So this is the only part of the "Dexit" that I don't know. The normal gem is the only obtainable one of the type gems, right?

For all I know, the Exp share was removed and was made into an automatic feature, and obviously the ride Pokemon from sun and moon. If we are talking about any item, then all of the HMs disappeared or were turned into TMs. There are probably more but i'm just going off the top of my head.

I don't know about items, but they stripped out Synchronoise as a move entirely and the move always fails. The move description says it should be deleted and is not learned by any Pokemon.

I heard that razor fangs and some of the plates are now unobtainable.

That's actual dumb [censored]. Several of those are good for in-game use. This game is infuriating and I can't believe they actually accepted just removing these moves as a finished product. They should've delayed the game. That's another debate, though.

SwSh did not remove any items from the inner code (in fact, to my knowledge, no item has been removed from the code of any Pokémon game since Gen 4). However, many items from old generations are set to go to an inaccessible "unknown pocket" in the bag, effectively putting them on par with glitch items. And there are some items that are assigned to an existing bag pocket, but are unobtainable through any legitimate means as of writing this.
