Can you Psycho Shift to shift a status condition to yourself?

If an opponent is poisoned, can you use Psycho Shift to heal the opponent's poison, and poison yourself? ^-^

"Gives the opponent the user's status condition, if it hits." It's user to opponent, not opponent to user.
