Is it a waste to teach my Gardevoir Teleport or should it learn Teleport?

I need to know because I need a strong Gardevoir.

No Teleport isn't worth teaching unless your playing ingame. Go for these moves: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Thunderbolt/Energy Ball (Gen VI) or Psychic, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Thunderbolt/Energy Ball (Gen V and IV).

however ,  it can be pretty usefull when you need to get to a poke center fast or just are at spikes passage and don't want to ride rhyhorn back
