Hey guys, I haven't updated my Nuzlocke in a while, to make a long story short, at this point, Celestial the Ralts is now Celestial the level 42 Gardevoir, which means it learns future sight. I have little experience with this move, so I have many questions, along with a question of whether it'd be a good move in general.
1. Can you not use any moves while waiting for future sight?
2. If you can, does dealing the future sight damage cost your turn?
3. If Gardevoir switches out before the two turn waiting period, does the move not take effect?
4. Would this be a good move in general, considering that in Gen 3, the move was considerably weaker?
Please help.

Why does this have a flag?
Why does your set have Imprison and Confusion?

  1. Yes. You can use moves while Future Sight hasn't took effect.
  2. No. You can still use another move in the turn that Future Sight takes effect.
  3. No. Future Sight will still take effect even if you switch out.

Generally, Future Sight isn't a very good move in Gen 3, (especially for Nuzlockes) considering it's BP is only 80. You'll be better off using Psychic, since it causes effect right away and does more damage.

Future Sight is generally a bad move in Gen 3.
