What are the odds of hatching a shiny with the Masuda Method in Pokemon Soul Silver?

I've been trying for days to get my Shiny Volt Tackle Pichu in Pokemon Soul Silver, via Masuda method. And I wanted to know, how much of an increase are the chances of hatching a shiny by breeding the Shiny Event Pichu (Pikachu now), with my Japanese Shiny Ditto?
