1: After you beat the Electric type Gym (ALSO THE GYM WITH THOSE THRASH CANS, AND THE REMAKE GYM IN USUM) you will get and autograph with 'Good Luck' written on it. Oddly enough, that's the EXACT same autograph as in USUM/SM, with the EXACT same text.

2: you can battle Mina in the game, and she looks younger. And I thought she got into art when she was 9, so she's probably 12 at the LGPE timeline. So yeah.
