The fog of mystery
"Ugh. I can't seem to find anything!" Said Goh disappointed. .

"It's probably too cold for anything or anyone to be out here." Said Ash.

"But I was really looking forward to catching something..." Goh said, heavily disappointed. Goh sat on the snow and laid back on a snowman. "Hey Ash?"

"Yeah Goh?" Questioned Ash.

"Are snowmen supposed to be hot?" Goh and Ash turned around to see that what they thought was a snowman was really a Pokemon.

"Darmanitan!!" The Pokemon bellowed before bouncing up and down. The snow started to melt wherever the Pokemon bounced.

"What is that?!" Asked Goh, shocked at the Pokemon's energy.

"I'll check the Pok-"

"There's no time for the Pokedex, Ash! Come on. It could be a new Pokemon! Let's go catch it!" Goh ran after the bouncing snowman Pokemon into the dense forest. Ash put away his Rotom Phone and chased after Goh. The bouncy snowman Pokemon melted snow wherever it landed. The Pokemon also broke off some tree branches as it bounced deeper into the forest. Suddenly, some fog rolled into the forest.

"Goh, slow down! Let's stick closer together. I can barely see with all this snow and fog!" Said Ash.

"Okay, but I don't want to lose that Pokemon!" Said Goh. Ash and Goh continued to rush through the forest.

"Dar Dar Dar Dar, Darmanitan!" The Pokemon said. Ash and Goh saw the snowman Pokemon spring onto a high rock platform.

"Wait, no! Comeback!" Goh said to the Pokemon.

"Daaarrrmaaaaannitaaann!!" The Pokemon teased before bouncing away.

"Dang it!" Said Goh, disappointed that he couldn't catch a new Pokemon. "Well, there's always next time." Said Goh.

"Um, Goh, check this out." Ash said. Ash pointed to the spot where the Pokemon had sank into the snow before springing up in the air and landing on the rock platform. In that spot was a man and a Machamp. They were frozen and had been buried by the snow. "We need to get some help, now!" Ash said.

"I'm so glad you two found this man and his Machamp. I can't stand the thought of what would have happened if you hadn't been there any time sooner." Said Nurse Joy. The man was wrapped up in blankets on a couch near a fire. Down the hall, two Indeedee were staring through the glass at the Machamp. "How did you even find him?" Asked Nurse Joy.

"We were chasing a snowman Pokemon." Explained Ash.

"Hey, do you know what kind of Pokemon that is?" Asked Goh.

"Oh! You must be talking about that Zen Galarian Darmanitan. It's evaded capture from everyone that's found it."

"Galarian...Darmanitan..." Said Goh, disappointed. " I was hoping we discovered a new kind of Pokemon..." Goh sighed as he sat down and looked around.

"Pika!" Pikachu said suddenly, disrupting the silence.

"What is it buddy?" Ash asked. Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder and ran twoards the door.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu said. Ash and Goh opened a door and saw a boy desperately trying to drag a injured Toxtricity to the Pokemon Center.

"Don't worry we will help you!" Said Ash and Goh, quickly rushing to the boy. Ash and Goh picked up the Toxtricity and rushed it inside.

"What happened?" Asked Ash once everyone was settled inside.

"I was in the forest trying to find a place to rest." Said the boy. "Suddenly, a thick fog rolled in. Me and my Toxtricity heard the sound of a Pokemon approaching. I turned around and saw a flash. Toxtricity fell over fainted, and the Pokemon went away!" The boy explained.

"A Pokemon came out of nowhere and attacked you? Strange." Said Goh.

"We'll investigate this. Don't you worry!" Said Ash. "Hey, we never got your name." Said Ash.

"My name is Timothy." The boy said.

As the day continued, more and more people came rushing into the Pokemon Center with stories about being lost in the forest, a fog rolling in, and an unknown Pokemon attacking in a flash and leaving. Nobody saw what the Pokemon was or what color it was. All everyone knew that it was fast and powerful.

"How are we going to find that Pokemon if we don't even know what it is?!?" Ash said in frustration.

"We don't even know what we are dealing with. We should probably leave this to Officer Jenny." Said Goh.

"It- it's Calyrex. Calyrex Shadow to be more precise." Ash and Goh turned to see that the man they had brought in earlier had woken up.

"What is a Calyrex?" Asked Ash.

"Pika pi..." Pikachu was also confused.

"Well, I guess I should tell you about the legend of Calyrex." Said the man. "Take a seat." The man said while patting the two spots on the couch that were next to him. Also, my name is Mark."

Intro:
“Greninja, Hydro Pump!” Greninja’s Hydro Pump quickly accelerated and hit Dianta’s Mega Gardevoir, and made it faint.
“Gar-de-voir…” Mega Gardevoir cried as it went back to Gardevoir, fainted.
“Gardevoir, return.” Dianta said while withdrawing her Gardevoir. “I knew I should’ve taught Garevoir Hyper Beam so it can be a fairy type move once more. God I’m such an idiot.” Dianta thought in her head. “Well, congrats Calem.” Dianta said. You are now the new Kalos champion. Calem and Dianta went into the Hall of Fame Room, where Calem was entered into the chapion Hall of Fame. After exiting the room, Calem was greeted by three “friends” that supposedly “traveled” with him.
“Oh. Congrats on becoming Champion, Calem. Mind if we compare Pokedexes?” Trevor excitedly said.
“Perhaps…” Calem said, while reaching for his Pokedex and going near a wall. Calem held out his Pokedex in the air. Trevor, like a dog eager for a new toy, leaps towards Calem’s Pokedex, but Calem steps to the side, causing Trevor to crash into the wall--- head first.
“Owww….” Trevor cried as he fell unconscious.
“Hey, Calem. There’s going to be a festival in honor of you becoming Champion. Mind if I show off my dance moves there?” Tierno curiously asked.
“Oh, I can help you with your dance moves.” Calem said. Calem then started to spin Tierno around, then slapped him in the face, causing Tierno to lose his balance and fall to the floor with a big THUD.
“Oh no… I hope those two will be ok…” Shauna silently said to herself, but Calem was able to hear her.
“Don’t worry, they’ll be fine.” Calem said with a comforting tone. “Now make your not so useless self actually useful for once and escort those two out of here. And when they wake up, tell them I want to meet all three of you for a serious discussion in Santalune Forest after the festval tommorow.” Calem said, while walking out of the building, eager to tell them what he had to say the next day.

The Crown Tundra
Narrator: As usual, Ash and Goh are at Cerise Labatory. I wonder what they're up too?

"Mmnmhmm! You make the best breakfast as always Mimey!" Ash said, while quickly eating enormous bites of his pancakes.

"Mime!" Said Mr. Mime, proud of it's cooking.

Slow down Ash." Said Goh, taking slower bites of his breakfast.

"The World Corination series won't wait for us, so we need to train hard and climb the ranks! Right buddy?

"Pika!" Pikachu agreed. Pikachu's mouth was as full as Ash's.

"Fine do whatever you want." Goh sighed before continuing to eat.

"Alright buddy! Let's go do some training!" Said Ash, getting up and letting Pikachu climb atop his shoulder.

"Wait! Don't go yet!"

Pikachu and Ash turned around to see Professor Cerise holding two tickets to Galar.

...

"Recently, a new place in Galar has been discovered. It is called the Crown Tundra." Said Professor Cerise, pointing to a screen with an image of a map.

"What's the Crown Tundra?" Ash asked, mostly confused.

"Well, let me show you. As you know, there are some Galarian variations of various kinds of Pokemon." Professor Cerise walked over to his computer and typed something. Then, a few images appeared on the screen. "Some variations of Pokemon that you may be familiar with are Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Rapidash, and Galarian Farfetch'd, like the one you have Ash." Explained Professor Cerise.

"Farfetch'd! Said the wild duck Pokemon while carrying it's huge leek." Farfetch'd walked over to where Ash sat and watched the presentation.

"You may be familiar with the Pokemon Slowking." Said Cerise.

"Oh! I know what that is!" Exclaimed Ash and Goh excitedly.

"Well, it has been rumored that new Pokemon have been discovered, as well as some new variations for Pokemon such as Slowking. I heard that Slowking has a new form in Galar, as well as sights of Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres."

"Coooooollll!!" Exclaimed Ash with twinkles in his eyes.

"Alright! I'm gonna catch them all!" Exclaimed Goh, ready to catch some new Pokemon.

"Wait, there's another thing." Said Professor Cerise. "There has also been reports of Pokemon being able to undergo Dynamax somewhere in the Crown Tundra. I need you two to check that out."

"Alright! Let's do this!" Shouted Ash!

"Sheesh, Ash. Calm down. I'm ready to catch some new Pokemon as badly as you want to discover them, but we still need to pack and get there." Said Goh.

"Oh right. Sorry." Said Ash.

...

Narrator: Ash and Goh, after a long flight, finally landed at the airport.

"Come on! Hurry up, Goh!" Shouted Ash.

"Wait! Slow down!" Shouted Goh, finally catching up to Ash and Pikachu. "I need to make sure I have everything." Goh checked his bag quickly before zipping it close.

"Crown Tundra, here we come!!" Shouted Ash and Goh. The two boys then ran for the door and pushed it open, only to be blasted by freezing cold air and a bunch of snow.

"I b-bb-eeeet-ttt th-i-this is h-hhow Ice type Pp-poookk-emon feel all the ttime!" Ash barley managed to say before falling over onto the snow.

"You two!" Ash and Goh turned around to see a Lady at a desk holding up two coats. "You probably need these. It's very cold out there."

"Yeah. Thanks, we noticed." Said Goh, shivering. Goh and Ash headed to the lady and grabbed the coats.

"Thank you." The boys both said while quickly putting the coats on.

"Heh heh. Now let's go." Said Ash while warming up. Once again, Ash, Goh, and Pikachu headed out into the cold to explore the Crown Tundra.

"Alright Machamp!! Get ready to strike!"

"Mah!" Machamp grunted as it stood it's ground. Stomp-stomp-stomp!! Stomp-stomp-stomp!! The creature got closer, surrounded by the mist and unable to be seen.

"Here it comes!"

"NNNRREEEIIIGGGHHHH!!!!" The creature in the mist yelled before attacking.

"AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGHHH!!!!!!!"
