I am desperately trying to to figure this out the ability guts

Question

If a pokemon with the ability guts is burned, will the halved attack stat and the guts boost cancel each other out, leaving the pokemon with an unchanged attack stat, or will the halved attack stat be canceled altogether, leaving the pokemon with an attack stat 50% higher than usual? Thanks in advance - Swagg

Pokemon with Guts DO NOT get their attack cut in half when they are burned so they still gain the boost.
