Why don't my pokemon mate together?

Question

Ok so i have a female Unfezant and a male Noctowl but they won't mate. Why? I'm trying to have a pidove that knows hyponosis by the way.

They are both in the Flying group, so that is not the problem. Are you sure it isn't just taking a long time and you are losing your patience?? What does the Day Care man say when you speak to him?? Pick one:

- "The two seem to get along very well."
- "The two seem to get along."
- "The two don't seem to like each other."
- "The two prefer to play with other Pokémon than each other." (<--although he should not say this)

If both the Unfezent and the Noctowl were caught in YOUR game, the man should say "The two don't seem to like each other." which gives you a 19.8% chance. Just be patient. I know how difficult it could be.

Theres nothing wrong with the egg group like uber pointed out above. he also said that it just might be you losing your patience which is probably true. The two should breed just fine its just might take longer i dont suggest go getting different ones thats a waste of time. a chance of a egg appearing every certain number of steps is decided by your game. you either get one or you dont. so just keeping walking and eventually you will get a egg. Just remember it could take days(though i doubt it) but a egg will appear in time.

i can garantee an egg if you run around
