All you need to do is go to WiFi in the the system setings, and click the icon for new WiFi connection. Then, you search for a connection. When you find the connection you wan't to use, you select it. If it has a WEP code(password), then you type that in and it tests the password and connection if the password was correct. Then, you're done.
