Sketch in Wi-Fi battle? [closed]

Does sketch work normally in Wi-Fi battle? I have no one to battle with so I don't know...:(

The move you try to copy will go to sketch after the battle. I've heard that you can copy your partner's attacks if you are in a 2 on 2 battle, I'm not sure though.

Have your partner attack first, then use sketch on them instead of your opponent.

By after the battle, he probably means that you won't be able to use the move during the Wi-Fi battle, but after the match is over, Smeargle will then have that move.
