If smergle uses sketch on a Smeargle with sketch will it be an endless battle ?

Why was this voted down? All that was wrong was poor spelling which is easily fixed.

The sketch will fail becuase one has to move first and if sketch moves first if fails so it will go to struggle

I encountered a smeargle once in Black and my attack missed. Smeargle tried to use sketch but it failed. It's sketch move dissapeared forever and it had no moves at all. I almost felt sorry for it. Then I KOed it.
