Gen 7
Mightyena
Mightyena @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Play Rough
- Iron Tail
- Snatch

This set is for use in Gen 7. The Darknium-Z is for Z-Snatch, which raises the user's speed by 2 stages, in this case, Mightyena. If you manage to steal a stat raising move such as Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, etc, as long as your opponent doesn't carry priority moves or a Pokemon faster than you, Mightyena could make an effective sweeper. Crunch is STAB. Play Rough deals with its fighting type weakness. Iron Tail is for fairy types. Snatch is for Z-Snatch.

Good set! Except you made a typo. It you manage is not a sentence.
Happy?
Yup! Thanks.
On another note looking at this in depth this is actually pretty impressive considering how weak Mighty boi is. +1.

Mightyena @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Crunch
- Return
- Ice Fang / Thunder Fang

Sucker Punch is used for priority and it's good because of low base 70 speed.
Crunch is used give opponent trying to avoid Sucker Punch a nasty surprise.
Return has a decent 102 power and is used for neutral coverage when the dark move shouldn't be used.
Ice Fang has low base power, but it's a filler and is super effective on Grass-types who roam in NU.
While Thunder Fang can be used to hit Water-types a bit harder.
Life Orb and Moxie are good to give Mightyena some power.

:D

Wasn't that random. :P

Mightyena @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Crunch
- Play Rough
- Facade / Fire Fang / Poison Fang

Lemme explain (even though this one is quite simple). Protect is self-explanatory. Crunch is STAB. Play Rough covers its Fighting-type weakness and has good power. Last slot is your choice. Facade is at 140 BP because of the Toxic Orb. Fire Fang covers its Bug-type weakness. Poison Fang covers its Fairy-type weakness.
Hope this set brings victory to many! :D

This is a sad Pokémon. It has 3 awesome abilities, but is held back by sub-par stats and a mediocre movepool. Quite a shame it didn’t get a mega.

Mightyena
Mightyena @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Poison Fang
- Fire Fang
- Play Rough

Once you knock out something, you get a Moxie boost, which is nice

why body slam when you could knock out the fairies with Iron Tail?
Iron Tail is fairly unreliable with that 75 accuracy in my opinion at least.
then poison fang
Body slam is transfer from gen 3, and Poison Fang is an egg move, so that can’t happen. Body Slam is STAB, so it actually does more damage against fairies than a poison fang.
Body Slam isn't STAB, it's Normal and Mightyena is Dark.
Oh crap, I forgot that, he really looks like a Normal/Dark type lol
it's pretty weird how mightyena gets a fairy type move

Toxic Sweeping Mightyena

Mightyena @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch / Sucker Punch
- Facade
- Ice Fang / Thunder Fang / Fire Fang
- Roar / Taunt / Yawn / Super Fang / Rest

Crunch/sucker punch-Crunch offers STAB and might lower defense. Sucker punch comes up should a Pokemon have a priority move. Crunch is more reliable though.

Facade-Gets boosted through the toxic orb.

Ice Fang/Thunder Fang/Fire Fang-Ice Fang is good to deal with Gligar, a major NU threat. Thunder deals with water and flying types, and fire for grass types.

Roar/taunt/yawn/Super fang/Rest-The first three are to force switches and preventing Pokemon from trying to set up on mightyena, super fang is for wall breaking bulky Pokemon. You could also consider using rest to shrug off any damage and status. Heal bell support would be recommended.

The idea with this set is to have the toxic orb activate Mightyena's ability, which boosts his speed when he has status. This also prevents him from being hit by status like Burn and paralysis, which would limit his sweeping abilities. Facade also gets stronger thanks to it. You could also use a choice band and hope the opponent carries a generic toxistaller or has toxic spikes to give you some status. This is more beneficial, but more situational.

Mightyena (F) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick feet
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Facade
- Play Rough
- Ice Fang

Crunch- STAB move good power, decent chance to lower targets def
Facade- works really well with this set and goes to base 140 power after toxic orb activate
Play rough- coverage move good power and chance to lower targets Atk
Ice Fang- another coverage move

Quick feet will ensure you will out speed a vast majority of Pokemon that are not scarfed provided you get the toxic orb off- running jolly max speed will give just under 400 speed and running adamant will give you 358 speed allowing you to outspeed unscarfed base 110 speed Pokemon

OU Destroyer
Mightyena @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Snatch
- Sucker Punch/Crunch
- Play Rough
- Fire Fang/Ice Fang/Poison Fang

While the title does specify OU, Mightyena is typically overlooked and disrespected in any tier including PU. More than often others will try to set up on it with Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, and other stat-boosts. Idea behind this set is predicting the setup and using Z-Snatch to catch the stat bonuses. From there, Mightyena can usually clean up the scene as long you don't get Hazed or against anything with Unaware. With +2 Speed you'll outspeed any scarfers and being a dark-type, are completely immune to Prankstermon. Very overlooked and an underdog with huge potential. With +2 Att you can 1-2HKO most walls like Clefable and Toxapex and OHKO any bulkmons.

Mightyena @Life orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fire Fang
- Play Rough
- Iron Tail
- Crunch

this move set allows it to cover all weaknesses but still leaves space for stab
so fire fang deals with bug types play rough covers fighting iron tail deals with fairies and crunch is a pretty powerfull stab move I would normally run this with a follow me to survive long or helping hand to use as a sweeper

This moveset is for Pokemon Emerald.

Mightyena @ BlackGlasses
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 126 SpA / 126 Spe / 4 SpD
Mild Nature
- Crunch
- Return
- Swagger / Hidden Power [Fire] / Protect
- Psych Up / Toxic

Crunch for STAB. Return has a good base power of 102. Swagger to confuse the target and raise its Attack. Psych Up to get the Attack boost of the opponent.

Other Options
If you don't like Swagger + Psych Up, Hidden Power [Fire] for coverage against Bug types and Toxic are good substitutes. Protect can also be used in conjunction with Toxic.
