Are shiny odds in breeding affected if a parent is shiny in FRLG?

what's the odds that I have to get a shiny squirtle from a shiny blastoise and a normal ditto in Pokemon fire red??

Gen 2 is the only game where breeding shinies gives you a higher chance for a shiny offspring, iirc.

In all games post Gen-2, breeding with shinies as parents has no effect on shiny odds. The odds are 1/8192.
