Do you have the Shiny Charm?
@Amethyst the shiny charm only works for eggs in BDSP.
Ah, I didn't know that -- I haven't played the games yet. My bad.
it's really hard to calculate the "average". the average would be adding every single successful hunts encounters and dividing that by how many successful hunts there's been. The odds are 1/4092. other than that, it's impossible for us to know the actual average

The odds of getting a shiny Pokemon in BDSP is 1/4096. Wild encounters are not affected by Shiny Charm.

It is impossible to know the exact average of how many encounters it takes to get a shiny Pokemon, but it is around 1/4096, for all shiny hunts done with 1/4096 odds. That's the best answer you can get.
