Why can’t I get Rotom out of the tv in Pokémon BDSP?

I’ve already beaten the league and I went to the mansion in eterna forest to get rotom for the Pokédex, but the tv said: “The TV has an oddly malevolent fell… It’s as if it’s staring. I did previously change the date on my switch while the game was still open, but I then closed my game and waited more than 24h and it still said the same thing. If anyone knows why this is, please tell me, because I really need to complete my Pokédex, Thanks.

P.S I’m not sure if the time punishment thing is only for drifloon, but if it is, it still doesn’t help my cause. Again, if you know anything please tell me

I may very well be misunderstanding you, but do you have the National Pokedex? Rotom is not required to earn the NatDex; in fact, you need it to even encounter it, per this source.
