Self explanatory

I see lots of Poketubers doing it and I’d really like to learn the details of the origin

For those who don’t know: a Dream Team Quest (DTQ) is a popular shiny hunting challenge where you shiny hunt 6 Pokémon to use in the game’s playthrough. You pick 6 targets, hunt them, and use them. They’re typically generation based only (e.g only using Gen 3 introduced Pokémon in an ORAS DTQ)

I do this normally in my playthroughs, but minus the Shiny aspect....
I don't think anyone created this challenge. People like aDrive have been doing it for years without calling it Dream Team. Someone probably just gave it a name at some point in time.
But who gave it the name?
That would be pretty obscure to find
After a frankly excessive amount of digging, the absolute earliest mention I found was March 2017, in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_IYj_WZUuc

You might be able to trawl through more search results and find something older, but I don't want to keep at this for longer than I already have.
I found this video fairly recently, which might help.
