Should I use Leaf Tornado or Energy Ball on Serperior in White 2?

I am using a serperior in Pokemon white 2 and I can't choose between leaf tornado and energy ball . Plz help?

What are you using the Serperior for? Is it for your in-game team (i.e. battling in-game trainers and finishing the story) or for battles against other people? If you're playing against other people, what are the rules/ battle format?

It is easy. Leaf Tornado is way weaker than Energy Ball. So choose Energy Ball.

Serperior uses Leaf Blade more effectively than Energy Ball because of the stat boosting move Coil.

TastyMushroom is correct - Since Serperior naturally learns Coil which bolsters her awful Atk stat, go with Leaf Blade. Energy Ball however, Is also an option if you want a Special-oriented Serperior. It won't really make any difference since Serperior's SpA and Atk stat is the same 75 each.

Serperior @ Leftovers/Anything
Ability: Overgrow
- Energy Ball/Leaf Blade
- Coil/Calm Mind
- Filler
- Filler

However, If you can get Contrary Serperior then use this set instead:

Serperior @ Big Root/Wide Lens/Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
- Leaf Storm
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis/Any
- Filler

(It's pretty unlikely to get Contrary though, as you can only obtain it via Dream World or Breeding, but Contrary + Leaf Storm is awesome!)

I would personally skip Coil and Leaf Blade since Serperior is a terrible Physical attacker.

Her ATK and SpA is equally horrible at a 75 Base, which is I gave an option for a Special Attack as well as a Physical Attack, along with a boosting move to bolster her awful stats. Didn't I explain it up in my answer?

Why Grass Pledge? That thing has 50 BP prior to Gen 6 and it isn't all that useful unless OP somehow has other Mons that knows the other Pledge moves. Also, if OP runs a Physical set with Coil, why bother changing it to Energy Ball? Prior to Gen 6 Energy Ball, has 80 BP, lower than Leaf Blade's.

And Leaf Storm is pretty bad without Contrary as it weakens SpA, and the fact that Serperior's SpA is 75 doesn't help.

If OP gets a nature that hinders Atk, then they can go with Energy Ball - Calm Mind combo and vice versa.

Grass Pledge has 50 BP!? I'm sorry, that is news to me. I thought it had 100 BP.

I apologize, I got a lot of things wrong there, the only time I ever used Serperior was in a mod of B2 that I guess boosted the Pledge move's power to 100.

Grass pledge is still better than leaf tornado tho
