A Technical Record is an item introduced in Sword and Shield. You can use one to teach a Pokemon a move before it breaks, making them just like the TMs of Gens 1 - 4. They exist alongside regular TMs, and can be sold and held. Once a TR is taught to a Pokemon, it can be remembered at the Move Reminder if it's ever forgotten.
