A Technical Record is an item introduced in Sword and Shield. You can use one to teach a Pokémon a move before it breaks, making them just like the TMs of Gens 1 - 4. They exist alongside regular TMs and can be sold and held. Once a TR is taught to a Pokémon, it can be remembered at the Move Reminder if it's ever forgotten.
