Am I doing breeding wrong ?

Question

So I have been breeding my feraligatr and abomasnow to get ice punch for my totodile. And I have been getting nothing but snovers.(Gen 5). Need help please.

If you want a Totodile with Ice Punch, you have to get a female Feraligatr, Croconaw, or Totodile, then breed it with a male Abomasnow or Snover with Ice Punch, wait for an egg, get the egg, hatch it, and the result should be a Totodile with Ice Punch.

This is what the Egg will hatch into. You need a female Totodile line Pokémon and a Male Pokémon of the same Egg Group as Totodile knowing Ice Punch to get the desired result.
