Would a physical attacking Choice band Genesect using U-Turn faint Zarude?

Just wondering if it’s a valid counter to Zarude, seeing as it has a *4 bug weakness.

U-Turn is not that powerful.
Tho,with 4x Weakness,Choice Band,Atk based Genesect attacks,i'm pretty sure you can.
Tho,you don't need to worry that much since Genesect is not weak to Zarude.
If Zarude does have a Fire attack(which i'm pretty sure he can't learn one.Maybe Hidden Power only),then is much more of a threat.
But,i'm pretty sure you can.

0 Atk Choice Band Genesect U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zarude: 508-600 (144.7 - 170.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

With 0 Attack IVs, 0 Attack EVs:

0 Atk Choice Band Genesect U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zarude: 448-532 (127.6 - 151.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
With 0 Atk IVs, but full Attack EVs:

252 Atk Choice Band Genesect U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zarude: 568-672 (161.8 - 191.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Normal:

Just wondering if it’s a valid counter to Zarude, seeing as it has a *4 bug weakness.

Genesect is Ubers, and Zarude is NU, so it's weird that you will see Genesect counter it, as it would die to U-Turn from ant Bug-type in NU with average attack and while 252 HP/252 Def may allow it survive, nonetheless that EV set wouldn't be useful.

  • 252 Atk Choice Band Genesect U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zarude: 624-736 (177.7 - 209.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

As you told, physically defensive:

  • 252 Atk Choice Band Genesect U-turn vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Zarude: 456-540 (110.1 - 130.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Most Bug-types with STAB would OHKO it with U-Turn, despite good defenses but 4x weakness.

the tiers don't matter for the purpose of this question. I'm planning on using this for a mythical/legendary/ultra-beast only tournament on swsh and quite a few people are planning on using Zarude now that it's out.
