Roost acts as if it basically removed the Flying type, so it depends on the pokemon.
For example it would be super-effective against Charizard because it is a Fire/Flying pokemon and Ground is good against Fire.
For a Normal/Flying pokemon like Pidgey it will just be normal effectiveness.
