No, there is not. If you got it from a friend, though, you could trade it back and ask them to change it for you.

i traded a empolion to heartgold but when it asked me to name it and i said yes but changed my mind then tried spelling piplup but put Pippi instead then after beating pearl i traded it then reset my game then traded Pearl in towards white 2

I traded my friend my magby and he traded it back to me as magmar and i couldnt rename it. is that because it evolved?

As of gen 8, you can actually rename a Pokemon that you were traded IF it doesn't already have a nickname.

You can use a cheat code that lets you change traded Pokemon's name if there is one, or go with the other answer.
