If you have a shiny milcery, does it matter how long you spin it to evolve?

Asking for my friend. He breeded and got a shiny, but doesn't know what to do.

You have to make your character spin long enough to strike the pose. Different Alcremies can be obtained based on how long you spin, but you do need to spin for at least that long.

Do note that shinies don't have different evolution requirements than regular Pokemon.

Yes, a shiny is completely cosmetic. It doesn't effect stats or evolution method for any Pokemon.
