To make a basic competitive team, I decided to make a team which is based on a weather. I will use this team in doubles but I don’t know which one is the best or good in competitive. This team will be used in the Battle Stadium. Please answer which weather and I will try to make a team based on whatever weather you answered. Thanks. If you want I can also post it on the Rate my Team section.

Tyranitar is probably the best. It has better stats than Politoed and Torkoal, so I think it's better at using its own weather to defeat opponents and relying less on weather-abusing teammates.
Since many people gave rain as an answer, I will try to do a rain team.

I would say a Sunny team
A Drought user + Chlorophyll user was totally out speed a lot of Pokemon, and also Drought + Solar Power and Drought + Leaf Guard can also be very powerful,
Good Drought Pokemon users (generation 8):
Hidden Ability Ninetails:

Ninetales @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Scorching Sands
- Solar Beam
-Your own choice

Torkoal:
Torkoal @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Solar Beam
- Clear Smog
- Earth Power
- Your choice

And HA helioptile, HA venusaur works pretty well with it, hope it helps!

P.S. Sandstrom will let your non-ground, rock, steel type pokemon deals damage each turn, and hail will will let your non-ice type pokemon deals damage each turn.
Rainy team is good also, but I personlly like sunny more
Ok. Would this team be good. Torkoal, Amoonguss or Venusaur and any other Pokemon which know Solar Beam
And also what about Ludicolo. It can learn Solar beam and is a water and grass type.
Please give upvotes and select the best answer if you like this answer!
Every weather has it niche. Sandstorm has good type diversity, 2 offensive and one defensive type. Sand veil can also annoy ur opponent. It also has powerful pokemon like excadrill to back it up. It also boost sp.def for rock types making t-tar into a offensive wall.
Sunny is mostly covered above. It's just missing  leaf guard which is quite powerful. Downside is that any grass type u use will get hit bad by opposing fire moves.
Rain is powerful too. Rain dish, hydration, dry skin, Swift swim, many pokemon can benefit from rain. Rain also gives good pokemon useful roles like volt absorb Jolteon or dry skin pokemon, mainly heliolisk.
Hail hits most pokemon, but has no type diversity. It has slush rush, ice body, snow cloak as good abilities. It can help to get perfect accuracy blizzard, making special hail setters(alolan Ninetales)deadly.
think leaf guard is outclassed by chlorophyll/solar power in general

Hey, I’ll take a shot at answering this! I’d try your luck with rain. It gets Swift Swim, Thunder, Hurricane, bulk, and Scald. I recently built a rain team for an RMT, and I’ve been using it myself. It’s pretty good. I tweaked it a bit though, since this is doubles. I’ll post the full team here, so 6 Pokémon. Starting this off, you should have a Drizzle Pokemon. Here’s what I use.

Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 SpA
Bold Nature
- Roost
- U-turn
- Hurricane
- Scald

The Damp Rock is to keep the rain from Drizzle up longer. The EVs allow it to be bulky while giving it a bit of a boost to Hurricane and Scald. Bold lowers Attack to increase Defense. Roost is for recovery. U-Turn is pivoting. Hurricane is STAB with 100% accuracy in the rain. Scald is STAB with a burn chance and decent power in the rain.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next you need something to absorb electric attacks and abuse Thunder. Behold, the very underrated Pokémon that fills both of these roles, Jolteon.
Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball
- Volt Switch
- Thunder
- Shadow Ball
Choice Specs boost its power. Volt Absorb allows it to take electric type moves for the team. EVs and Nature are pretty standard, max out speed and special attack and boost your speed just a bit more. Weather Ball in the rain hits Ground types super effectively since HP Ice is gone. Volt Switch is pivoting. Thunder abuses the rain for perfect accuracy STAB. Shadow Ball is coverage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next is an annoyer. Not really the standard set you’d see for this particular Pokémon, but it works pretty well.

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Protect

I’ve gotten a lot of rage quits on showdown because of this. Leftovers +Rain Dish heals 1/8 of your max HP per turn in the rain. The EVs make it physically and specially bulky, but I focused on physical defense more due to its already decent Special Defense. 28 Special Attack is for a power boost. Bold once again gives up Attack for Defense. Scald is STAB boosted by the rain with a burn chance. Giga Drain is STAB that heals you even more. Leech Seed is for even more healing. If you’re low on health, use Protect.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next, I’ll present a tank to you that enjoys rain support a lot due to its 4x fire weakness.
Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Atk / 84 Def / 148 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Iron Head
Rocky Helmet + Iron Barbs scares a lot of contact physical attackers away. 252 HP is for all around bulk. 24 Attack is to hit a bit harder than usual. 84 Defense is in case you do come across a physical attacker. 148 Special Defense is for the much more likely scenario that you’ll encounter a Special Attacker. Careful is once again to boost Special Defense. Knock Off gets rid of items that are crucial to some Pokémon, such as Eviolite on Dusclops. Protect is for a turn of free healing with Leech Seed. Iron Head is STAB.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now, one of the scariest sweepers out there, who is even better in the rain.

Dracovish @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fishious Rend
- Psychic Fangs
- Outrage
- Crunch

Yep, it’s Choice Scarf Dracovish. Strong Jaw increases the power of Fishious Rend, Psychic Fangs, and Crunch. The EVs allow it to hit as hard and fast as possible. Jolly is for the speed boost. Fishious Rend.... STAB + Rain + Strong Jaw + Maxed Out Speed + Choice Scarf is hard to overcome. It hits HARD. Psychic Fangs is boosted by Strong Jaw and it breaks screens. Outrage is Dragon STAB. Crunch is boosted by Strong Jaw.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, something that shouldn’t be as fast as it is in the rain. Yet it is.
Barraskewda @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Liquidation
- Drill Run
- Poison Jab
In the rain, this thing is blistering speed. A Life Orb is for the power boost. Swift Swim doubles it’s speed it the rain. The EVs max out it’s Attack and Speed. Adamant allows it to hit harder since in the rain it’s plenty fast without Jolly. Close Combat is coverage. Liquidation is STAB boosted by the rain. Drill Run hits electric types. Poison Jab is for common fairy types like Whimsicott.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Admittedly, this team is more viable in singles than doubles, but I thought I would post it anyway, in case you were thinking of doing a weather team in singles or if you wanted to change this team up a bit; using this team as a model.

Hope this helps! :)

Raichu should replace Jolteon. Lightning Rod sends all electric moves to Raichu and gives it a Sp Atk boost. Volt Absorb doesn't do anything unless the opponent targets Jolteon with the electric move
Jolteon is still really good though, and is superior to Raichu in stats. It’s more of a revenge killer, with the added affect of being able to absorb electric attacks.

My personal favorites are Sun and Sand, but all weather conditions have there perks.

A good Double Battle Sand team would be:

Hippowdon@Smooth Rock
Trait: Sand Stream
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Sp. Defense
Role: Sand Set up/Physical Tank

Moves:

  • High Horse Power: STAB
  • Fire Fang: Chance to Burn, covers Ice and Grass Weaknesses
  • Yawn: Put you opponents to sleep while the other Pokemon sweeps
  • Slack Off: You can heal any damage Hippowdon takes with this

Or if you play Shield/Have a Tyranitar I would recommend using this one instead:

Tyranitar@Smooth Rock
Trait: Sand Stream
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP, 130 Attack, 63 Defense, 63 Sp. Defense
Role: Sand Set up/Physical Tank

Moves:

  • Rock Slide: Spread damage, STAB.
  • Crunch: STAB
  • Ice Fang: Covers Grass and Ground weaknesses.
  • Curse: Increases Attack and Defense, but lowers it's Speed.

If you want to use either of the above, I would recommend having this Pokemon on the team:

Gastrodon@Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
Nature: Bold or Modest
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Sp. Defense
Role: Special Tank

Moves:

  • Earth Power: STAB
  • Muddy Water: STAB, spread damage
  • Ice Beam or Substitute: coverage for only Weakness or a substitute to take some damage for Gastrodon.
  • Recover: Healing

If you want to make a sun team, Torkoal is way easier to get than a HA Ninetales, so I would go with Torkoal.

Torkoal@Heat Rock
Trait: Drought
Nature: Brave
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Sp. Defense
Role: Physical Tank/Set up

Moves:

  • Gyro Ball: Works well with Low speed
  • Body Press: Works well with Great Defense
  • Stealth Rock: deals some damage when opponent switches Pokemon
  • Curse: Helps Gyro Ball and Body Press by increaseling Attack and Defense, while lowering Speed.

But if you really want a Ninetales, use this set:

Ninetales@Heat Rock
Trait: Drought
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Attack, 4 HP
Role: Special Sweeper/Set up

Moves:

  • Flamethrower: STAB
  • Solarbeam: Works in one turn when sun is effect. Covers all Weaknesses
  • Hex: Double damage if burned
  • Wil-o-wisp: Low accuracy, but burns opponent

And I would recommend using this Pokemon if you want a Sun team:

Maractus@Miracle Seed
Trait: Chlorophyll
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Attack, 4 HP
Role: Special Sweeper

Moves:

  • Solar Beam: STAB, one turn use in sun.
  • Weather Ball: Covers Ice and Bug Weaknesses while in Sun. Good power
  • Growth: increases Attack and Sp. Attack by 2 Stages while I'm sun. (One stage each if it's in any other weather condition)
  • Synthesis: heals 75% of total HP in sun. (Heals 25% in rain, sand, or hail, and 50% with no weather)

If you want a rain team, your going to need this Pokemon:

Pelipper@Damp Rock
Trait: Drizzle
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Attack, 4 HP
Role: Set Up/Special Sweeper

Moves:

  • Hurricane: Great accuracy in Rain, and it gets STAB.
  • Scald: Chance to Burn opponent. STAB
  • Tailwind: Boost teams speed
  • Wide Guard/Protect: Wide Guard protects you from spread damage, and Protect protects the user from any move other than Phantom Force and Max Moves (although it does reduce the damage taken from max moves)

What I recommend to battle along side Pelliper:

Raichu@Leftovers
Trait: Lightning Rod
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Sp. Attack, 4 HP
Role: Special Sweeper

Moves:

  • Thunder: Perfect Accuracy in Rain and STAB
  • Weather Ball: Water type in Rain which covers only weakness.
  • Encore: Trap the opponent in a bad move.
  • Electroweb: STAB, hits both opponents, and lowers their speed.

If you want a Hail team I would recommend:

Vanilluxe@Icy Rock
Trait: Snow Warning
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Sp. Defense
Role: Set up/ Special Tank

Moves:

  • Aurora Veil: Half's damage done to all Pokemon. But it only works during hail
  • Blizzard: Perfect Accuracy in Hail. STAB
  • Freeze Dry: STAB and covers water
  • Protect: Protects Vaniluxe

Clearly this Pokemon isn't very good against Pokemon that resist Ice, so this Pokemon along with it could really help:

Mamoswine@Life Orb/Lum Berry
Trait: Snow Cloak
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 4 HP
Role: Physical Sweeper

Moves:

  • Earthquake: Hits all opponents and allies, so be careful. STAB
  • Icicle Crash: STAB
  • Rock Slide: Spread Damage
  • Thrash: Good Power

(P.S., I'm not very good at writing Hail teams)

I hope this helps!! :)

think rain is better than sand because of swift swim users, 100% accurate thunder and hurricane, and you don't take chip damage if you are not a certain type. the only major sand abuser is excadrill
I'll add Rain and Hail to this I guess.
I'm pretty sure Tyranitar's stats and type are better for offense. Give it a weakness policy, 252 Atk/252 Spe jolly, and dragon dance instead of curse.
A Tank is (or at least to my understanding) a pokemon that can deal really powerful damage, while also taking heavy hits. So it technically is Offensive and Defensive, but most of the time it is either really defensive or really offensive. In this case, Tyranitar is a really Offensive Tank. And a weakness policy is a good idea, but this tyranatar is supposed to set up Sand, which the Smooth Rock is the best for.
Why is a tank Tyranitar better than a pure offense Tyranitar? It has a lot of weaknesses and no good healing or support moves.
I changed it's EVs a little so it's a little more offensive, but still technically a tank.
63 EVs? Why? It isn’t divisible by 4, so it therefore misses out and raising the stat by 1 point.

Something like this would work better:

Tyranitar @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- High Horsepower
@PokemonLover Why is curse better than dragon dance? Why is your EV spread better than 252 Atk/252 Spe?
