Hey, I’ll take a shot at answering this! I’d try your luck with rain. It gets Swift Swim, Thunder, Hurricane, bulk, and Scald. I recently built a rain team for an RMT, and I’ve been using it myself. It’s pretty good. I tweaked it a bit though, since this is doubles. I’ll post the full team here, so 6 Pokémon. Starting this off, you should have a Drizzle Pokemon. Here’s what I use.
Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 SpA
Bold Nature
- Roost
- U-turn
- Hurricane
- Scald
The Damp Rock is to keep the rain from Drizzle up longer. The EVs allow it to be bulky while giving it a bit of a boost to Hurricane and Scald. Bold lowers Attack to increase Defense. Roost is for recovery. U-Turn is pivoting. Hurricane is STAB with 100% accuracy in the rain. Scald is STAB with a burn chance and decent power in the rain.

Next you need something to absorb electric attacks and abuse Thunder. Behold, the very underrated Pokémon that fills both of these roles, Jolteon.
Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Weather Ball
- Volt Switch
- Thunder
- Shadow Ball
Choice Specs boost its power. Volt Absorb allows it to take electric type moves for the team. EVs and Nature are pretty standard, max out speed and special attack and boost your speed just a bit more. Weather Ball in the rain hits Ground types super effectively since HP Ice is gone. Volt Switch is pivoting. Thunder abuses the rain for perfect accuracy STAB. Shadow Ball is coverage.

Next is an annoyer. Not really the standard set you’d see for this particular Pokémon, but it works pretty well.
Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Protect
I’ve gotten a lot of rage quits on showdown because of this. Leftovers +Rain Dish heals 1/8 of your max HP per turn in the rain. The EVs make it physically and specially bulky, but I focused on physical defense more due to its already decent Special Defense. 28 Special Attack is for a power boost. Bold once again gives up Attack for Defense. Scald is STAB boosted by the rain with a burn chance. Giga Drain is STAB that heals you even more. Leech Seed is for even more healing. If you’re low on health, use Protect.

Next, I’ll present a tank to you that enjoys rain support a lot due to its 4x fire weakness.
Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Atk / 84 Def / 148 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Iron Head
Rocky Helmet + Iron Barbs scares a lot of contact physical attackers away. 252 HP is for all around bulk. 24 Attack is to hit a bit harder than usual. 84 Defense is in case you do come across a physical attacker. 148 Special Defense is for the much more likely scenario that you’ll encounter a Special Attacker. Careful is once again to boost Special Defense. Knock Off gets rid of items that are crucial to some Pokémon, such as Eviolite on Dusclops. Protect is for a turn of free healing with Leech Seed. Iron Head is STAB.

Now, one of the scariest sweepers out there, who is even better in the rain.
Dracovish @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fishious Rend
- Psychic Fangs
- Outrage
- Crunch
Yep, it’s Choice Scarf Dracovish. Strong Jaw increases the power of Fishious Rend, Psychic Fangs, and Crunch. The EVs allow it to hit as hard and fast as possible. Jolly is for the speed boost. Fishious Rend.... STAB + Rain + Strong Jaw + Maxed Out Speed + Choice Scarf is hard to overcome. It hits HARD. Psychic Fangs is boosted by Strong Jaw and it breaks screens. Outrage is Dragon STAB. Crunch is boosted by Strong Jaw.

Now, something that shouldn’t be as fast as it is in the rain. Yet it is.
Barraskewda @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Liquidation
- Drill Run
- Poison Jab
In the rain, this thing is blistering speed. A Life Orb is for the power boost. Swift Swim doubles it’s speed it the rain. The EVs max out it’s Attack and Speed. Adamant allows it to hit harder since in the rain it’s plenty fast without Jolly. Close Combat is coverage. Liquidation is STAB boosted by the rain. Drill Run hits electric types. Poison Jab is for common fairy types like Whimsicott.

Admittedly, this team is more viable in singles than doubles, but I thought I would post it anyway, in case you were thinking of doing a weather team in singles or if you wanted to change this team up a bit; using this team as a model.
Hope this helps! :)
