Not the Masuda Method either. I don’t trade, so I don’t have a complete dex or any foreign Pokémon. I was just wondering because I want to catch my first actual shiny, and I want to know the highest chance I can get, and how to achieve that maximum.

In order to get Shiny Pokémon, you need to find, battle, and catch or defeat a species of Pokémon in order to increase the chances of that species being shiny.

According to the respected chart, you start out at 1/4096 chance and work your way up to get the highest chance. With no charm, your highest chances are approx. 1/683 after battling a total of 500 of that species.

Welp that’s a lot of battles, good chance tho.

Anyway thanks! :)
Considering you only have a 3% chances of having the odds after 500 battles, it kinda sucks
Good compared to the regular odds tho
Yeah I guess
