PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

So recently I tried to boot up my Pokemon Sun save, but it said the data was corrupted. I've never tampered with the cartridge, no cheating devices, just a normal cartridge. I can't go in my settings to delete anything, I think the cartridge is just broken. any help? It's a physical copy.

Did it every hit/fall on anything? Did you buy it from GameStop? Perhaps it's the effects of the previous user's hacking... If not, can you show us a picture of the back of the cartridge (maybe it's scratched or something)? I can't think of any other reasons why this would happen to an un-hacked cartridge. Also, if you have Pokémon Bank you can try accessing the PC Boxes through there. This is sometimes possible and making a change tends to correct your save (or will at least salvage any Pokémon not in the active party or day care).

As Metroid said, the only thing you can really do is try putting Pokemon into Pokemon bank. Sometimes making a change on the file will fix it. If that doesn't work, I don't think much can be done. GameStop might have a solution that I don't, so that's another thing you could try

You shouldn't expect retailers like GameStop to help you with the games they sell. If you want support for a Nintendo product, you should contact Nintendo.
