Eiscue Ice Face vs Storm Throw?

Can the move Storm Throw affect Ice-Face Eiscue without breaking its ice face(converting it to it's Noice face form)? The above case happened in Showdown in a random battle, (I thought it was gg but my Throh'sstorm throw fainted Eiscue with Ice-Face), so I was bewildered but could not find any references online so I'm posting a query here...

Most likely what happened during your match was that your Throh had the ability Mold Breaker, which makes all of Throh’s moves bypass certain defensive abilities, including Ice Face.
