I’m reading warnings off my old action replay.

What Pokémon?
1. Buy a new AR replay then or stop cheating. 2. Try to breed them naturally? 3. What pokemon :l?
Literally I found a thing to spawn any Pokémon in Gen 4 or 5 that said spawn but don’t breed these Pokémon. It included every Pokémon.
You can't breed with them because they're not even real! At all! Unless, you make them real. The cheats probably only generate the pokemon, but not it's other necessary programming.
How does this affect breeding them?
It does not. Anyway this question is about a hack so I think I should flag it. Try asking on GBA temp if you want to know.

If you use PkHex you can breed the hacked mons with no problem.

@TMD, I am pretty sure the action replay calls a class to generate the new pokemon object, but IDK how thy code the games and I am newb at programming
There are known glitches that can occur when breeding using illegitimate Pokemon. The answer is probably just you shouldn't breed because of one of these glitches.

Even if the referenced Pokemon are illegitimate the question itself doesn't explicitly refer to 3rd party softwarre or hardware or to non-legitimate Pokemon games

"So, to be perfectly clear: you are allowed to make posts that relate to hacks, and you are allowed to make mention of third-party software"

If you're using hacking software to generate Pokemon into your game, then the chances are that they haven't taken enough time to make these Pokemon capable of breeding, and attempting to do so without the nessacary code existing will lead to glitches and possibly crashing. and why do you need to breed if you're hacking in Pokemon anyway?

What do you mean by 'necessary code existing'?
I need to breed hacked 31*6 perfect nature Pokémon so I can trade the egg Pokémon as 31*5, perfect nature Pokémon 100% Legal.
@Fizz, I mean the stings of code that determine whether pokemon can breed with certain pokemon, what moves they can pass down, etc. some hackers don't bother adding this.
I’m pretty sure information like egg moves and egg groups are stored along with other species-specific information, not the individual Pokémon itself.
yeah, but hackers have to create the species seperately, since they're using external software
But stuff like Action replay (which the asker mentioned by name) doesn't 'create' Pokemon, it just takes the existing data and changes it around a bit. The capacity to breed should theoretically still be there by default. You might want to get more specific about the kind of glitches than can occur when using AR to make this a complete answer.
fair enough. but lazy hackers can still fail to load the proper data when spawning that pokemon.
