When you spin a PokeStop on a gym whose color matches your team you get more items. Does that also increase the likelihood of finding certain items like Metal Coat or Kings Rock?
If I’m understanding this Silph Road article correctly, the actual chance of getting an evolution item does not increase. You are more likely to get one, but only because of the extra items.
