Electrode @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 SpA / 6 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt / Electro Ball
- Signal Beam
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Self-explanatory. Keep using Substitute until your Berry activates, then attempt to sweep. Thunderbolt/Electro Ball is STAB while Signal Beam & HP Fighting provide some coverage.

I would use timid nature, but otherwise good set! Upvote :)
@Crimson1 Thanks! And I think it'll do fine with a 378 Speed stat.

Rain Dance Lead

Electrode

Electrode (M) @ Damp Rock / Focus Sash
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Rain Dance
- Taunt
- Explosion
- Thunder

Rain dance cause you're a rain dance lead. Taunt to prevent them form setting up on you. Explosion cause it's Explosion. Thunder for STAB

You do know that Explosion is not that powerful in Gen 5, Right?
Like, it's still a way to die if you need to and get off damage. Perhaps that's why its there? I could see this set being a bomb in RSE rain teams.

Electrode @ Life Orb
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Electro Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Substitute
- Toxic / Taunt

A very nice Pokemon, It's annoying seing how greedy game freak was with his movepool.

With max speed life orb Electro Ball should do some damage, Hidden Power Ice for those who recists Electric type attacks, substitute can be good when forcing a switch, Taunt so they don't use anything fishy like stat raising moves, can be safely implemented behind a sub, toxic might also be good.

Role: Suicide Physical Sweeper

Electrode @ Focus Sash
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Spark
- Sucker Punch
- Mirror Coat
- Explosion

Spark gets a much better paralyze rate ( A step up from what's already 30% ) paired with Static, which is great, even though he still has pretty crazy nice speed. Sucker Punch is priority, which when paired with static can paralyze a Pokemon right before they attack.
Focus Sash + Mirror Coat is the main strategy going on with this guy, with Hp Ev's to make Mirror Coat deadlier, Physical Moves ( Which are hopefully contact moves as well ) he can Paralyze them, then blow up in their face. Even after Sash + Mirror Coat, he still gets the opurtunity to blow up in somethings face. A different turn for Electrode considering his crappish attack stat.

Electrode @ Focus Sash
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Volt Switch
- Taunt
- Toxic / Light Screen

This is a scout Electrode, he causes mayhem then switches. Thunder-wave causes one of the most annoying and sweeper crippling statuses in the game(paralysis). Volt-switch gives you something to do if you get Taunted, and does damage when you switch. Taunt is for ruining Pokemon who rely on stat boosting or any other kind status moves. Toxic would be for causes a status on Ground Types and Pokemon with Motor-drive/Lightning-rod/Volt-absorb, while Light-screen would be for team support. Aftermath makes it so he goes out with a BANG!

Double/Triple battle

Electrode @ Damp Rock
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rain Dance
- Light Screen
- Swagger
- Thunder

I hate Electrode. Not facing Electrode, I would probably love that if anybody ever used one. No, I hate using Electrode, because it is so useless. All it can do is set up Rain Dance and Light Screen, maybe even give an Own Tempo Pokemon a Swagger boost. Who knows, maybe the foe will ignore Electrode and attack a better Pokemon such as Pidgeot and you'll be able to get a Thunder in. Use a better Pokemon.

Dude, Electrode is amazing, you just have to learn how to use it
No, it's not, it's mediocre, all it does in it's home tier is act as a Suicide Rain setter lead.

Hey guys, Scizor is back again to make another extremely diabolical moveset.

Electrode @ Normal Gem / Focus Sash
Ability: Soundproof / Static / Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Timid Nature
- Screech
- Mirror Coat
- Light Screen
- Explosion

  • Screech ~ Lower their defenses before the BIG BANG.
  • Mirror Coat ~ To help out your team for a little while.
  • Light Screen ~ Same as above.
  • Explosion ~ Once their defence is low, BANG! Explosion.

There you have it. If you liked this moveset, check out my Magcargo one, too. it's also just a troll one.

Specs Electrode
Electrode
Electrode @ Choice Specs
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Signal Beam
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch

Pretty self explanatory. Thunderbolt is STAB. Signal Beam is for coverage. HP Ice deals with ground types. Volt Switch is for pivoting.

Gen 7 ZU

Electrode @ Life Orb
Ability: Soundproof / Aftermath
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature

  • Thunderbolt
  • Taunt
  • Hidden Power [Ice]
  • Signal Beam / Volt Switch

Thunderbolt is good STAB. Taunt prevents Stealth Rock, Defog, Toxic, Swords Dance, Protect, etc... Hidden Power [Ice] gets rid of Ground types. Signal Beam does more damage to Grass types, Volt Switch is STAB and pivoting.

Gen VI NU

Electrode @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 SpA / 252 Def
Modest Nature
- Electro Ball
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Explosion

Explanation: Electrode is one of my favorite Pokemon, it has incredible speed combined with its decent special attack stat it can make use of STAB-Electro Ball being able to out speed most opponents making it more powerful with Volt Switch being there for pivoting and HP Ice there for coverage with Explosion being there for a last resort move, I chose to go for a more bulky investment for Electrode as its already quite fast and doesn't need further investment in speed, Overall, a solid choice for an Electric type in the lower tiers of competitive.

Gen 9 Natonal Dex UU Screens Setter

Electrode @ Light Clay
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Magic Coat / Taunt
- Teleport

A Screens Setter set for Gen 9 NatDex UU if you decide to use Electrode as a funny screen setter in that format. This should be used on Screens HO since this set is a screens setter.

Light Screen and Reflect are used to help support your setup sweepers, with Light Clay increasing the turns of the screens being setup. Magic Coat is used to bounce back things such as Taunt, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, and Spikes. Taunt can be used to instead to prevent the things mentioned earlier and is also useful to stop setup sweepers from setting up. Teleport is used to bring in a teammate safely since Teleport has negative priority. Using Teleport can also potentially let Electrode get a chance to setup screens later.

I would recommend to put explosion in place of teleport, and switch the nature to jolly.
Does this thing learn rapid spin?
The answer does explain why Teleport is used over Explosion. It would be good to explain why you still find Explosion preferable. Timid is better than Jolly because lower Attack is better against Foul Play and confusion.

Gen 9 ZU Offensive Pivot

Electrode @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Ice / Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Tera Blast
- Volt Switch
- Taunt

Electrode is at the time of this post is really good in ZU due to its high base speed in addition Tera Blast and Terastal existing. Thunderbolt is used for Electrode's primary Electric STAB. Tera Blast offers nice coverage depending on the Tera Type you use. Tera Blast Ice lets Electrode have BoltBeam coverage, while Tera Ground is nice vs Pincurchin that hasn't used its Tera. Volt Switch is used for an Electric-STAB that lets it switch out as long as there isn't an Electric immunity on the field. Taunt allows Electrode to shut down defensive Pokemon as well as hazards from being setup. Static is the ability since punishing Pokemon using moves such as U-turn is nice. Heavy-Duty Boots is used to prevent it from being chipped by hazards, which is really useful if Electrode uses Tera Ice or ends up using Volt Switch a lot.

Electrode

Gen 9 PU

Electrode Is underrated, If you're able to use It correctly you can kill such Kinds of Gabite, even If It's Immune to Electric types, It counters Dugtrio, Golduck If It's not used on a rain team, and Quaxwell.

baller (Electrode) @ Life Orb
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Tera Blast
- Taunt

This is the Best moveset you'd Use for Electrode in PU, Thunderbolt Is stab and with life orb you can hit Pokemon hard, Volt switch Is Pivot, Tera blast Is for Ice type Terastallization, It counters Gabite, Dragonair and Dartrix, that's why I said It counters Gabite, If you use Elec correctly you can make It an Unseen threat while It's In the ZU tier.
