I don't think large video game companies perhaps collect or share information of sales by each country. Top 5 may be hard to find. You can reference this link if you want an idea in concern to some larger regions:

The U.S. would be #1, purely because its population is nearly three times the size of Japan's. Japan would be #2, and then the rest would be a tussle between the UK, France, Canada and Germany, which are reasonably similar markets and hard to separate.

The source also shows in concern to Asia, India is also heavily populated and had a ton of Pokemon game sales and might fall into your list of possible 3rd-5th place countries.

Possibly, but I honestly doubt it. It's not a nice thing to acknowledge, but realistically not all of India's 1.3 billion people would be able to spend money on video games. As I understand it, the anime is the most popular there -- in fact the Forbes India reference on that Wikipedia article speaks exclusively about the show.
There are a few others like Mexico, China, Brazil and Russia that would have the numbers, but for their own reasons don't have as big a market for video games as Europe, Japan or the rest of North America.

It's difficult to know precisely because sales figures are not given per region. Nintendo's financial reports only give a total, for example their latest report says Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee sold 10 million worldwide.

However there are a few other snippets of information I could find:

• Serebii tweeted that Let's Go sold 1.5 million in the US and 823,707 in Japan in the first two weeks (source 1, source 2). However that did not include digital sales.
• The vgsales link sumwun posted in the comments shows that ORAS sold 2.6 million in the USA and 2.5 million in Japan, to the end of 2014.
• The same page says Sun/Moon sold 7.5m in Japan in two weeks, with 4.5m in USA by the end of the year.
• The Notes section estimates sales based on money taken, and for the most part has higher sales in Japan.

So overall, Japan buys the most Pokemon games (especially for brand new, non-remake games), with USA second. We don't have figures for other countries individually, but Europe as a whole is usually third.
