If I breed an alolan Pokemon from a non-alolan Pokemon that has its hidden ability, can an offspring have it?

If the specific case is needed, I am playing ultra sun, and am attempting to breed a Ditto with a Sandshrew. This Sandshrew has its HA Sand Rush, as it came from a VC game. What I know it's that the offsprings will be Alolan Sandshrew, but is it possible for them to have Slush Rush in this scenario?

I just did this myself, and it's definitely possible. Got myself Slush Rush mons from that.
