Whats a good nature for turtonator?

Breading Pokemon to transfer to UM Need a good nature for Turtonator. Please help?

What moves will it know? If you don't tell us, then I think this will count as a moveset question.

well it won't count as one. I build these pokemon from the ground up. So I don't really think about moveset's untill i understand a good nature for them. Untill i get anwsers for that, movesets aren't really a consern for me right now.

First, I don't know anymore if this breaks a rule, so I'll wait for an editor or moderator to make that decision.
Second, you are the first person I have ever seen who chooses natures before choosing moves. I always thought a Pokemon's nature should be whatever lets that Pokemon best use its moves. So it seems impossible to know what the best nature is until I know what moves the Pokemon will know. Is there a reason why you like to choose natures first?
Third, this is for the Battle Tree, right? Why would you use Turtonator when Heatran is so much better?

I cant use heatran in UM because i dont have one, plus im transferring breeded pokemon to my games for not only to battle, but to fill my pokedex.

Also, You can't work on a moveset first unless you have a good nature to work with. Thats Very important to know when breeding pokemon. Natures really are important because they bring out the best in movesets as well.

In Pokemon Showdown, the online simulator for Pokemon battles, this has become the norm. Decide the nature in accordance with the moveset. In-game battling has become less popular recently, though I can see why you would want to know what nature to hunt for in-game. All I'm saying is you're going to run into the former mentality a lot when asking these questions.

Sure you can. Nothing is stopping you from getting a piece of paper or a Google doc and writing/typing the names of 4 moves on it. Or going on Smogon to look up which 4 moves are the best. (given that you have access to this site, you probably have access to paper)

How can you know which nature brings out the best in your moveset when you don't know what your moveset is?

Yeah, If you look for a Timid Gardevoir, and you want to use it defensively, you should've looked for Bold. (or relaxed if you run Trick Room, for whatever reason)

I think you need to decide move-set first, because it is much easier to Make Nature to fit moveset than moveset fit Nature; it also helps the Pokemon fit your play-style. And it is also much easier in game to do this as well (I know from experience).

I feel that this question is less objective without a move-set (People can easily argue Adamant or any other nature because there are no moves that say what is a good nature in Particular, and the no moveset question rule) :P

I will go with popularity in this case. It seems the most popular choice is Modest, but there are many other natures. I recommend looking through this moveset question for a moveset you like, then use the nature they used. Oh, and also Smogon uses Timid for a shell smash sweeper
