Should I teach AncientPower to Chikorita?

I want to teach Chikorita AncientPower as an egg move which covers all its weaknesses except Poison.

Ancient Power does cover all of Chikorita's weaknesses, although you might consider HP Rock for this job, because of a better power. In my opinion, you should teach him Ancient Power because of the neat side-effect.

Although the side effect is only a 10% of activating and ancient power only 5pp(max 9 I think)

HP varies from 30 to 70, so in general AP is more reliable and easier to get.
