Go to this link u see there are different natures for the raticates. If the totems ones u receive have different natures than the ones wu battle should too.  Also serebii says they are random.

Totem Pokemon have a random nature. They are a different Pokémon from yours. Though they are bigger than the regular Pokémon, they still will have a nature in its self.
