Why won't my Tepigs hatch with the TM move Wild Charge?

Question

Hello folks! I have two Emboar that I'm breeding, and their movesets (and the Tepigs they hatch) are as follows:

Male: Wild Charge, Head Smash, Flare Blitz, Superpower
Female: Wild Charge, Head Smash, Flare Blitz, Superpower
Tepig is hatching with: Tackle, Head Smash, Flare Blitz, Superpower

I'm very confused. Wild Charge is a TM move for Tepig, and both parents know that move, so why are my Tepigs hatching with Tackle instead of Wild Charge?

Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you so much! This is killing me over here!

I understand Wild Charge can't be learned since it's not part of Emboar's egg group. However, I may be forgetting about something, but how is Tepig able to be bred with Head Smash and Flare Blitz?

Head Smash and Flare Blitz are level up moves for Tepig! Level 37 for Head Smash, level 43 for Flare Blitz.

Level-up moves should really be listed under Egg Moves, just so that there can be a single all-purpose list of moves for breeding, haha. It wouldn't be difficult, and confusion like yours could be easily avoided. But oh well, that's the world we live in. *Shrug*

Wait wait wait, I was under the impression that ALL TMs were egg moves by default - are you saying that's incorrect?! My gosh, this changes everything! I thought all compatible TMs would be passed down by default, without having to be listed as an Egg Move! After doing more research on this, apparently this was true before, but was removed in Gen 6. Although, it seems like I'm not the only one with this misconception...

No, it’s definitely because TM breeding ended in Gen 6. The answer you read above is referencing an article that is outdated, which is where the mistake comes from. (We should probably get our admin to bring it up to speed huh?)
Formally, level-up moves wouldn’t count as egg moves. That term is usually used to describe moves that are exclusive to breeding, which level-up moves aren’t.
